GFI MailEssentials (antispam) nieuwe versie!

Er is weer een nieuwe versie uit van GFI MailEssentials (antispam). Hierbij de “lijst”. Vooral de whitelist “per domain” kan erg handig zijn!

UPDATE: Import\Export tool now supports export\import between different platforms and also includes export\import of quarantine & reporting databases.

UPDATE: Greylist will automatically ignore emails received from perimeter servers.

UPDATE: Greylist now supports setting the registry block period value to 0. It is not recommended to set this value to 0 unless it’s necessary.

UPDATE: Ability to customize quarantine URL which is used in the quarantine digest email.

UPDATE: POP2Exchange now limits number of concurrent connections instead of performing all of the configured connections.

UPDATE: When auto whitelist reaches limit, it will now remove entries based both on how many times the email was processed and the last time the email was processed.

FIXED: Corruption of outbound email attachments on Microsoft Exchange Server 2003.

FIXED: Greylist crash caused during stopping of GFI MailEssentials Scan Engine service.

FIXED: Inline attachments not being delivered on Microsoft Outlook 2010 & Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010.

FIXED: Anti-Phishing module hangs during processing, causing MailEssentials to stop processing emails.

FIXED: MailRoute module causing GFI MailEssentials Scan Engine module to crash and not process emails.

FIXED: GFI MAX perimeter setting not being processed if the perimeter list contains one or more entries.

FIXED: Forward email action failing due to processing of invalid email addresses.

FIXED: Emails not being processed by MailEssentials due to configuration access leak.

FIXED: Dashboard logs not being shown due to unexpected characters in log file.

FIXED: Block report not being set when email is whitelisted. This issue caused log file of whitelist to have empty whitelist reason.

FIXED: Approved messages from Quarantine for recipients with long email addresses end up as bad emails.

FIXED: On checking for new patches from GFI MailEssentials configuration, the configuration would crash when one or more patches are found.

FIXED: Modifications to excluded IP addresses not being refreshed by Greylist whilst it is running, requiring a restart of the GFI MailEssentials Scan Engine service so as to use the modified IP addresses list.

FIXED: Emails not being processed after installing MailEssentials on Microsoft SBS 2010. This happened due to the Post Installation Wizard not restarting the Microsoft Exchange Transport service.

FIXED: SURBL stops caching URIs after processing for 4 days
