Recent verscheen er een knowledgebase artikel van Swyx over het data verbruik van de Swyx Mobile clients. Toegegeven ik reken mij zelf tot de frequent users en haal bij lange na niet de voor gerekende hoeveelheid data verbruik. Ook niet als ik Wifi en mobiele gegevens data verbruik bij elkaar op tel. Maar het biedt in ieder geval enig houvast.

Overview values:

1 talking minute = ca. 1,3 MB

App launch = ca. 1 MB (Checking all data)

Small refresh (carried out due a call) = ca. 0,05 MB

Data usage while standby = ca. 1,2 MB a day for normal usage

Even een bericht dat je moet hebben gelezen als je met zakelijke telefonie bezig bent:

Op 16 februari is er een wijziging in het staatsblad aangaande de telecommunicatiewet gepubliceerd die inmiddels ook als hamerstuk is aangenomen in de Eerste Kamer. Deze wet voorkomt dat een contract na de initiële termijn – stilzwijgend – met dezelfde termijn verlengd mag worden. Dit plaatst de zakelijke gebruiker min of meer gelijk aan de consument omdat de opzegtermijn na het initiële contract één maand tot op uitdrukkelijk verzoek maximaal drie maanden mag gaan bedragen.

Al eerder heb ik geblogd over Swyx desktop client voor MAC OS X. Nu is hij ook beschikbaar in de MAC APP Store:

Swyx TOP Cloud Partner 2015 Award

TOP_Cloud_Partner_2015_AwardVorige week zijn collega’s Alan Mens en Joost Heijkoop naar Engeland afgereisd om de Swyx Service Provider Roundtable 2015 en International Partner Conference 2015 bij te wonen. Het goed opgezette programma van Swyx gaf volop mogelijkheden om met andere partners te praten en de diverse presentaties gaven een duidelijk inzicht in alle noviteiten die Swyx binnenkort gaat uitbrengen. Al met al zeer waardevolle dagen in Engeland. En dus genoeg stof om binnenkort eens over te bloggen.

Tot slot werden wij door Swyx verrast met een TOP Cloud Partner 2015 Award. Men is erg blij met alle inspanningen die Adfocom breed levert op het gebied van Swyx. Collega’s hartelijk dank voor alle inzet, op naar de volgende award!
